Large with picnic tables and barbecues. The bathrooms we're clean but with very slippery floors. Nice, friendly staff.
Wonderful place with terrific views and adequate facilities. Campsite was clean, restrooms and showers worked just fine, and BBQ grills did their job. Kids loved the walk down to the shore just steps away, and we went swimming off the pier which was just a short five minute walk. Boat ramp and launch available. Rental rate for camp site was an amazing bargain, and we'll definitely be back. Located in a rural area, so plan ahead and pack what you need. Stores and gas are about 10-15 minutes drive. Excellent place to spend a romantic evening with your lover looking at the stars and water at night.
Look at this view from our site! Gorgeous!! So inexpensive compared to other places we called and we were able to get a space at the last minute on a holiday weekend.
The people running this place are very nice. As far as the place itself. It's very run down do to Obama cutting the funding to Federally ran parks. That's why the roads at this particular place are bad. Watch out for pot holes. Not a beach area unless you call rocks and a little sand a beach.
This is a very good Corps of Engineers Campground and park. The only thing I don't like is that it doesn't have full hook-ups. You will have to either have a portable dump tank or move your whole RV to the Dump Station.
